Team Rockit

One of my favorite bands of all times is Jason and the Scorchers. I was them at a hole in the place in Phoenix called The Mason Jar and they tore the roof off the place. I’d see these guys there with a crazy rocker girl and we would dance until our clothes fell off. I can see Team Rockit doing that. Let me know when you are in L.A. and I will find that girl.

These guys are a solid, slammin’, rawkin’ good time.

All Over Town: Rawkin’!!!

Put Up A Fight: At times these guys sound Helmet which is not a bad thing at all. Solid slabs of guitar, bass and drums and vocals with attitude.

Can’t Get Harder: Farting, distorted bass, out of control guitar, sledgehammer drums,  lots of yelling. Perfect.

Devil’s Tattoo – Link Wray reincarnated. My dog is going crazy.

String of Pearls: Not the Glen Miller song. I cranked it and my ears were ringing for an hour. Sweet pain.

Running from Myself – This is the single. Um… oh dang. He said Motherf*cker. Oh well. Great song.

It’s Not Rocket Science – Sheesh, this song clocks in at 1:52. Short in the great Ramones tradition.

This is my pick for the best party CD in my house right now. Buy it now and find that girl and dance your clothes off!
